I couldn't have asked for a more lovely day for my mini-sessions on Sunday. It was breezy and balmy and nothing like the hellish, humid day before. (Thank you, Mother Nature.) The hired help (my ten year-old son) was MOSTLY on his best behavior, and ushered my clients from the parking lot to my location in the park like a champ.
I had never worked with this family before, but they were wonderful. I do a little jump for joy every time I see red hair, and Madison's got a fantastic hue of strawberry blonde. (By the way, I believe this is a completely natural response from a mother who has a redhead of her own; I'm a little partial. I can't help it.)
Madison's just turned two, and her mom brought along her sister and friend. I owe them huge amounts of gratitude for helping to draw Madison out of her shell, straight out of the gate! I guess she is a big fan of red popcicles. I'm quite certain she was awarded one after her patience with me during this session.
A big shout out is in order for Cheeto, as well; for being cute and sweet, and far more obedient than my dog.
